Alpaca yarn that is lovely to the touch is what you get when you purchase McGraw's yarn. McGraw has a great feel to his yarn. McGraw,(pictured as a cria and a yearling) had a 16 micron as a yearling. That is the lowest level of micron that you can have for an alpaca, putting him in the "royal" category. He is now a herdsire in Illinois.
Dark fawn/light brown is a very pretty color, very neutral, and goes with all other colors. Pair this gorgeous color with natural white, or black, for equally stunning looks. It has hints of ivory or cream in it. It really is a heathered yarn.
McGraw's yarn is in 200 yard lengths. It is 2 ply, and weighs about 3 ounces. It is sportweight. So a less tight twist (meaning less heavy), but extremely nice. This yarn would make gorgeous garments. The price is not indicative of quality. You will love the feel of this yarn.
It is super soft!
Purchase all 3 skeins of this yarn for that unforgettable scarf and I will send along a free 2 ounce skein of pure alpaca.
